1.WEAK BATTERIES
If you’re using battery-operated thermostats, then the most common reason thermostats start turning off and on by itself is “Weak batteries”.

7. SCREEN NOT RESPONDING
Screen not responding and screen freeze happens in some thermostat. If you notice and the screen freezes or the screen is not responding in your thermostat, then after some tries the thermostat starts restarting to refresh the system.
8. AUTO UPDATING
As thermostat keeps getting smarter they need to be updated to its latest version available. Honeywell sends Its update via OTA which needs to be updated to get all the features available in your thermostat.
Updating the thermostat required internet connection and your thermostat must be connected to the internet while updating.
After the thermostat completes the update download it starts installing it immediately and while installing the update in your thermostat it restarts several times in-between updates.
